Drake postponed the previously scheduled episode of OVO Sound Radio last night, likely in an effort to let Beyonce hog all the spotlight as she shocked the world with Lemonade, her visual album that premiered on HBO. Tonight, however, it's Drake's night, and he's intent on reminding fans that this is the week in which his long-anticipated album, Views from the 6, is set to arrive.
Future recently hinted about a feature on the album, and that was followed by a convincing rumor of a joint "Summer Sixteen" tour between the What a Time to Be Alive collaborators. Now, in the most exciting news of the day, Drake has shared the album artwork to Views from the 6, which fittingly shows him enjoying the absolute best view that his hometown of Toronto has to offer.
"To the city I love and all the people in it...Thank you for everything," wrote Drake on Twitter next to his presumptive album cover, on which he sits on the very top platform of the CN Tower, Toronto's most famous landmark as well as the tallest structure in the Western Hemisphere.
Views from the 6 drops this Friday, April 29.
