Kodak Black was involved in a police chase that lead to his arrest in Broward County earlier this week, and while he has been charged with drug and gun possession, he has since been released from custody.
Kodak confirmed his status as a free man with an Instagram post Friday night, captioning a photo of himself at the airport, confirming he was back on schedule with his Going Up Top tour. “From The Cell, To The Airport! “Baby Cause Im A Thug” Birmingham Tonight #Flies,” he wrote.
Due to his previous kidnapping conviction, the rapper was charged for firearm possession as a felon. He was also hit with charges pertaining to the small amount of cannabis he was found with, as well as fleeing from police and disobeying traffic lights in the process.
