Earlier this year, Desiigner's single "Outlet" had quite a streak in our top ten, appearing for over two months straight. Although the ensuing album hasn't shown up as soon as expected, the Brooklyn rapper has had a successful run of follow-up loosies, most of which have also ended up charting. Today, his latest track becomes his first in a while to hit #1.
A$AP Ferg and Offset lead the way this week with two appearances apiece. Interestingly enough, both have one as solo artists and one as members of their respective groups. New tracks barely missing out on spots this week include XXXTENTACION and Trippie Redd's "Fuck Love" (#11), PartyNextDoor's "Damn" (#12), A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Young Dolph's "D.A.R.E." (#13), and Action Bronson and Rick Ross' "9-24-7000" (#14). Check back with us next week to see if they make their way up the TOP 100.
10. Russ - The Game
Russ' first post-album track is basically just him venting over a near-exact replica of Kanye West's "Say You Will" beat, but people were feeling it. "The Game" currently sits at 89% user approval, and it debuts at #10.
9. London On Da Track Feat. Offset, Nicki Minaj & 21 Savage - No Flag
London On Da Track is the latest of Atlanta's superproducers to start releasing music as a lead artist, with his debut track featuring the talents of hometown compatriots Offset and 21 Savage, as well as Nicki Minaj. With the combination of star power and some thinly-veiled Cardi B disses from Nicki, "No Flag" is able to debut at #9.
8. Tyler, The Creator - Ziploc (Freestyle)
Tyler's already had a hell of a summer with the success of Scum Fuck Flower Boy, but last week he decided to cap it off with a freestyle over a song from another July release, Jay-Z's 4:44. He absolutely murks the title track, garnering a 91% user rating and a debut at #8.
7. A$AP Ferg Feat. Ski Mask The Slump God - ILoveYourAunt
A$AP Mob's AWEGUST initiative officially concluded on Friday with the release of the Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, but there was also a surprise in store in the form of this Ferg track with Ski Mask, that didn't make it onto his tape Still Striving. "ILoveYourAunt" is the second Ski Mask song of the summer to make use of a classic Missy Elliott beat, and this one debuts at #7.
6. A$AP Mob - Feels So Good
The second consecutive A$AP song on the list is "Feels So Good," a pre-release single from Cozy Tapes Vol. 2. It made its debut at number one last week, and in its second week out, it's down five places to finish at #6.
5. PartyNextDoor - Break Me Down
PND has a new album by the name of Club Atlantis on the way, and although we don't yet have a release date or tracklist, he has been popping up with some new music in recent weeks. "Break Me Down" is one of the latest cuts, and despite debuting at #5, its user rating isn't stellar, clocking in at 76%.
4. Gucci Mane Feat. Migos - I Get the Bag
Gucci Mane seems to have collaborated with everybody under the sun this summer, from Ralo to Chris Brown to Selena Gomez, and his latest finds him linking up with his old friends the Migos. Taken from the upcoming Mr. Davis, "I Get the Bag" debuted at #5 last week and is up one place to finish at #4 in its second week out.
3. Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment Feat. Taylor Bennett - Gimme A Call
Last week, Taylor Bennett (AKA Chance's little brother) shared a previously-unreleased track by him, his bro, and the Social Experiment, but apparently he didn't have full permission to do so because it's been pulled from the internet. Nevertheless, "Gimme A Call" debuts at #3.
2. Miguel Feat. Travi$ Scott - Sky Walker
After a few mostly-silent years, Miguel unexpectedly returned last week with a new, Travi$ Scott-assisted single, "Sky Walker." Accompanied by a Director X-directed video, the new track made a splash despite only dropping on Friday. It debuts at #2.
1. Desiigner - Formula
Desiigner and Murda Beatz are two dudes who have both had a ton of success on HNHH in the past, so it's no surprise that a collab between the two entails a #1 debut. "Formula" is Desiigner's first #1 since "Outlet" earlier this year.
