With one of the year's biggest tracks, "XO Tour Life," under his presumably studded belt, Lil Uzi Vert has built a fair amount of hype for his upcoming project Luv Is Rage 2. Unfortunately for Lil Uzi fans, the past few months have failed to yield anything resembling a concrete release date, leading to frustration from fans and artist alike. With reports that Uzi's label wanted to milk the longevity of "XO Tour Life" before moving on to something, it seemed as if the sequel's fate was placed squarely in the hands of the higher-ups.
However, a new development has basically surfaced overnight, with many rumors indicating that Luv Is Rage 2 is due for a surprise release on August 25th. A French website called "Masilia" has shared a tracklist and album artwork of the sixteen track album, and fans are speculating that the news is indeed legit. In fact, "Masilia" has a pretty solid track record when it comes to leaking legitimate information, having previously announced Kendrick's "Humble" and dropping the single artwork before anyone else. In fact, one redditor on r/hiphopheads alleges that Masilla has been responsible for early glances at Young Thug, 21 Savage, and Kodak Black's latest tracklists.
Therefore, if this information is to be believed, we could be bumping some new Lil Uzi Vert as early as midnight tonight.
