"Desus & Mero" are coming back for a second season next year on Viceland.

Since the series premiered back in October, Desus & Mero has become one of the biggest & best shows on Viceland. I like to compare it to a current-age Wayne’s World but in urban & pop culture starring The Kid Mero & Desus Nice, who touch on the day’s biggest news stories with their comical touch.

The 30-minute night-time talk show airs four nights a week, Monday-Thursday at 11PM EST, and sees a special guest make a nightly appearance. Of the special guests, there’s been everyone from Diddy, French Montana, Von Miller, Al Sharpton, Rick Ross, Jay Williams, ESPN’s Jemele hill, Juelz Santana, Arian Foster, & many more celebrities make appearances.

While the show has continued to grow & get bigger & better over time, we’re happy to report that Season 2 has officially been renewed for next year.

On Monday, both Desus & Mero took to their Instagram pages to announce Season 2 & thank their production crew in the process for all their hard work. Desus' caption read, “Just got renewed for season 2 of @desusandmero . Shouts to my wonderful production family who make it happen everyday.” Whereas Mero was a bit more loud & excited with his post, he wrote in all caps..."SOPHOMORE YEAR IS GONNA BE LIT WE ALREADY SMOKIN & DOIN GRAFFITI IN THE BATHROOM!! "#1 SHOW IN LATE NITE: SEASON II: THE GRRRRTNING" BIG UP ALL DI CREW DEM ALL INVALUABLE GEARS IN THIS CULTURAL PARADIGM SHIFTING JUGGERNAUT."

Of course, nothing else is known at this time about the upcoming season, but it’s definitely great to see Desus & Mero get another season, it’s well-deserved. In the comments alone, fellow peers & guests have been congratulating them on the news, including Charlamagne Tha God, Miss Info, & Irv Gotti to name a few.

Check out the announcement (below) & revisit all of the episodes of the show right here on Viceland if you missed them. Monday’s episode featured non-other than NBA analyst & ESPN reporter Rachel Nichols.
