At this point, the formula of O.T. Genasis has been proven, and the hits keep coming. What he does best are simple, repetitive hooks and punchlines delivered with serious weight (which describes most of his subject matter). Last week, he was able to get the unexpected pairing of Remy Ma and Quavo to guest on the remix of his latest single, "Push It," which appeared as the last track on his new mixtape, Coke N Butter, released on Friday (Nov. 11). Aside from the remix and the recent Yung Lan-produced "Right Back" (which premiered with a music video earlier this month), the tape is made up of entirely new material, including potential hit collaborations with 2 Chainz, T.I., and YG, the latter whom guests on the standout "No No No."
Though O.T.'s sound may be more reflective of a city like Memphis, he actually hails from Long Beach, and he's been cosigned by some of L.A.'s best, including Snoop Dogg, The Game, and of course, the 400 leader. The minimal trap beat, coming from Jereme Jay, compels commanding performances from both O.T. and YG, each of whom are so effectively concise with their lyrics.

Quotable Lyrics
I don't need no friends, all I need is bands
All I need is grams, sittin' in the pan
Went to Ben Baller just to see the Rollie dance
