Watch Dave East spit bars over Playboi Carti's "Magnolia" beat while on DJ Clue Radio.

Dave East has been out hitting the promo circuit hard this week in support of his upcoming debut album Paranoia: A True Story, which drops tomorrow. After chopping it up with us at HNHH for very own sit-down interview, Dave made his way by Power 105 while in NYC & bless listeners of DJ Clue’s Radio show with some bars.

Going in over Playboi Carti’s hit record “Magnolia,” the Harlem emcee does what he does best, and that’s spit serious heat. Whether off the top or not, Dave goes hard as fuck over the Pierre Bourne beat, rapping about losing close friends, his grind in the streets growing up, & his newfound success & money, among other things. He spits…

“I know the feeling lose close friends, tragic shit keep happening
Money cant change nothing but my address
Plus I keep my mother daughter and I keep my dad fresh
Honestly I’da really need a nap, I need mad rest.”

In addition to the freestyle, Dave also took time out to chop it up with Clue, which you can see for yourself here. Check out the 3-minute freestyle (below) and look for his Paranoia: A True Story, which is set to feature guest appearances from Young Jeezy, Nas, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, and French Montana, to hit iTunes Thursday night at midnight.

In other related news, Dave visited HNHH’s headquarters earlier this week to chop it up about tomorrow's album, his collar with Jeezy, daughter Kairi, and more. If you missed it, re-watch a portion of that dope interview on HNHH TV (below) & check out the official tracklist here. Paranoia: The True Story arrives later tonight at midnight, stay tuned.
