One of TDE's most enigmatic personalities, Ab-Soul has been involved with some of the most well-respected rap records of the last decade. One of the original members of the all-star group Black Hippy, the California rapper has been without a full-length solo album release since 2016. However, that hasn't stopped him from being a headline-grabber as of late. On the heels of hinting at a TDE collaboration with A$AP Mob on their upcoming project, Ab-Soul is now lashing out at all the wannabes who keep sending him their undiscovered material.
Taking to Twitter to vent his frustration, the rapper proclaimed that "y'all stop spammin' Soundclouds... u aint goin nowhere, ur trash." Harsh words from Soul, who isn't necessarily given to such public displays of emotion, especially when it come to rappers he doesn't directly associate with through the label. However, there are some rumors that it wasn't actually him tweeting those sentiments and that we might have another social media hack on our hands in the hip-hop world. Regardless of who sent out the post, it definitely stirred some strong reaction from other users on the social media platform.

For those who dragged Ab-Soul for not releasing any standout music in a long while, they'll at least get to see a rebuttal of sorts when he performs live at the Paid Dues Festival later on this year in September. The lineup is a strong one as well, including Nipsey Hu$$le, Freddie Gibbs, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah and the man who's been brought on as the headliner, Lil Wayne. Then there's the potential for Ab-Soul to be involved with the A$AP Mob record personally, according to his tease, as opposed to just having someone from TDE showing up somewhere on the tape. Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar have already repped the label's name through team-up's on tracks from members of the A$AP crew, most notably the latter emcee's appearance on "F**kin' Problems."
Does this tweet from Ab-Soul mean he harbors a strong dislike for all the hip-hop he hears coming out of Soundcloud? That's doubtful, but he's probably just tired of hearing unsolicited submissions in general.
