Dave Chappelle brought K. Dot out during his Radio City Music Hall residency.

As much as Dave Chappelle is known for his comedy, he's also a well-known hip hop head and a huge supporter of hip hop culture. Back when he dropped the 2005 documentary Dave Chappelle's Block Party, he recruited a long list of incredible hip hop artists to perform at his function in Brooklyn. Aside from that, even when the Chappelle Show was still on TV, he'd mix comedy with live performances. While the TV show is no longer running, Chappelle still mixes in hip hop with his live stand-up shows. As of right now, he has his 16-day residency at Radio City Music Hall and each night Chappelle has scheduled different special guests. Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Solange and Erykah Badu were already known scheduled performers for his residency.

Last nights show only creditted "Very Special Guest" alongside Chappelle and to much surprise, that very special guest was none other than Kendrick Lamar. While Chappelle maintains a very strict "no phone policy" for his performances, there isn't any photographic or video evidence of K.Dot's performance however ?uestlove did manage to post a picture of Kendrick's set list from the evening. With three major albums and an EP under his belt, Kendrick played some of his hit singles alongside other cuts from his projects for a full set. According to the set list, Kendrick Lamar opened up with "DNA." followed by "ELEMENT." before closing off his set with "HUMBLE." other songs included in his set were GKMC hit "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe," "Swimming Pools" as well as "Backseat Freestyle." He also did some cuts off of TPAB as well as "levitate" off of untitled. unmastered.

It sounds like a night that any hip hop head would have a fear of missing out on. While Kendrick is currently embarking on the second leg of his DAMN. tour alongside D.R.A.M and YG, his appearance during Dave Chappelle's residency at Radio City Music Hall sounds like a pleasant surprise for anyone in attendance.

Dave Chappelle's residency will be lasting until August 24th with Trevor Noah, Yasiin Bey, Talib Kweli and more scheduled as special guests. While Chappelle's residency takes a break tonight, tomorrow he's scheduled to bring out Chance the Rapper and Hannibal Burress.
