Eminem is waving bye-bye to a multi-million dollar property.

Eminem has been a somewhat cryptically busy man so far in 2017. The documentary series The Defiant Ones, which focused on the journey that both Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine had throughout their careers in the music and technology sectors, featured clips from a sit-down interview with Em speaking about both men. There's also the rumor that he'll be dropping some new music come the fall, potentially to coincide with his birthday, which is on October 17th. While that later bits of news hasn't been made official by anyone in the Slim Shady camp, we can confirm that a move out of Rochester, Michigan is on the way for Eminem.

According to a report from E! Online, the rapper is selling his opulent mansion in the Detroit suburb for $1.99 million. If that number seems low, that's because it is. He reportedly bought the property 14 years ago for $4.75 million, which means that he's taking more than a 50% hit financially in the sale. The six-bedroom, nine-and-a-bathroom mansion hasn't gone down in quality, despite the drop in its perceived market value. It's a contemporary-style home, built in 1986 and spanning a massive 17,000 square feet. The land itself comes to nearly six acres, so even as a property to develop your complex on top of, it could be a steal for someone looking to make a home near the Motor City.

The report states that every bedroom in the main house is suite-sized, making a guest's stay quite the experience. The mansion also boasts plenty of opportunities for entertaining, with tennis courts, a waterfall pool with a spa, an "entertainment cabana," a guest house and a game room that's attached to it. Perhaps a holdover from his "Lose Yourself" days (i.e. - more outwardly paranoid days), there's also a "guard house" and a beefed-up security setup that has the ability to lock the sprawling property down like a mini Fort Knox. Who knows where and when Eminem will be re-locating to next, but it's clear that he's trying to get this house off his hands sooner rather than later. Want to live like a Rap God? Time to consider a move to Michigan.
