It appears Tiger Woods was feeling all sorts of fucked up when he was arrested back in May for a DUI in Florida. Tiger at the time admitted that he wasn’t drunk, but had an “unexpected reaction to prescription medication,” and we now know what those medications were.
According to TMZ, Tiger had five (5) different drugs in his system at the time of his DUI arrest. The Palm Beach County Sheriff reportedly released the toxicology report from the May 29 arrest, and in it it proves Tiger tested positive for Hydrocodone (painkiller, or vicodin), Hydromorphone (powerful painkiller known as dilaudid), Alprazolam (aka xanax), Zolpidem (sleeping pill also known as ambien) and THC, aka weed.
"I didn't realize the mix of medications affected me so strongly,” and as TMZ points out Tiger never mentioned anything about weed back in May.
Following the arrest, Tiger made a public statement apologizing to his fans & saying he was getting professional help at a rehab facility. After staying in for a few weeks, Tiger ultimately completed the intensive program, and thanked his fans for their loyal support.
Last week, news surfaced that Tiger had struck a plea deal with prosecutors to enter a DUI diversion program at the end of October. By doing this, Tiger will get twelve months of probation and be required to complete DUI education classes. When completed, he hopes to have the charges dropped. However, with the surprise of THC being found in his system, this could alter some decisions moving forward, but I guess time will only tell with that.
All of this news comes on the heels of Tiger’s other personal life, his relationship or what was one with 34-year old Kristin Smith, which Tiger said had ended last year. "Kristin Smith and I are no longer dating and haven’t since last year.”
