Tyler The Creator has built himself the empire he told us he'd create when he first stepped out of the public eye. He made himself known as a multi-faceted creative before being known as an entrepreneur and business mogul in the rap world. While he drew polarizing opinions at the beginning of his career, his impact went past music and bled into several other lanes. One of them being his ability to curate one of the most interesting music festivals every year, Camp Flog Gnaw.
While the dates for the festival were announced in May, Tyler the Creator took to social media today to reveal the full line-up and as always, it's lit.
Taking place in LA's Exposition Park, the 2017 edition of the festival includes some of the hottest artist this year including Migos, Solange, Lana Del Rey, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Mac Miller, Kehlani, Lil Yachty, Kid Cudi, Willow and Jaden Smith among many others.
It's an impressive line-up that also includes Tyler's collaborators on Flower Boy, Rex Orange County and Steve Lacy.
Other acts included on the line up also include 6lack, Kelela, Denzel Curry, The Internet, Syd, Kelis, Brockhampton and many more.
6lack actually revealed that he would be appearing on the festival line-up earlier today as part of his "Free6lack" tour this fall. His announcement came prior to Tyler releasing the official line-up.
While Tyler the Creator continues to push the envelope every year with his festival, it becomes more exciting by the year. As eclectic of an artist he is, his music taste is very telling to that. He always manages to blend artists together that you wouldn't think would share a stage on the same day. Tyler also got Roy Ayers on the line-up, who he has revealed he is a huge fan of in the past.
Prior years included Chance the Rapper, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Wayne, Erykah Badu, Lil Uzi Vert and many more. It's quite clear that Tyler aims for a diverse line-up every year.
Camp Flog Gnaw will take place at Exposition Park in Los Angeles on October 28th and 29th. Tickets go on sale on Thursday at noon.
