The 2017 Teen Choice Awards were held past Sunday (August 13th) in Los Angeles, California, and it was an opportunity for DJ Khaled and Chance the Rapper to shine. As per ABC News, they both took home awards that night, including one for the Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song, which went to their collaboration "I'm The One." The track, which also featured Justin Bieber, Quavo and Lil Wayne, is just one of several gold and platinum-selling singles from Khaled's Grateful album. "I’m the One" also beat out stiff competition that included Macklemore's "Glorious," Khalid's "Location," Drake's "Passionfruit," Childish Gambino's "Redbone" and Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like."

Chance wasn't done raking in the honors though, also taking home the nod for Choice Breakout Artist, a category that also saw nominations for Dua Lipa, Halsey, James Arthur, Julia Michaels and Zara Larsson. Elsewhere at the awards show, Fifth Harmony, a group that often collaborates with heavy hitters from the hip-hop world, got three surfboards to add their collection, winning for Choice Music Group, Choice Summer Group and Choice Song for their Gucci Mane-assisted single "Down." Additionally, their fan base, which is known as the Harmonizers, were honored as Choice Fandom. It's a nice coup for a group that last mainstay Camila Cabello to a solo career not long ago.

According to Variety, the ratings for Sunday's telecast grew since the previous year, roughly 12% in total viewers and an estimated 20% in the key 18-49 advertising demographic.
