Bills trade Watkins to Rams.

The Buffalo Bills just pulled off two trades, one of which involves star wide receiver Sammy Watkins.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bills have agreed to trade Watkins and their 2018 sixth round pick to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for defensive back E.J. Gaines and the Rams' 2018 second round pick.

During the 2014 NFL Draft, former Bills GM Doug Whaley gave up first-round picks in 2014 and 2015 in order to move up five spots to snag Watkins with the fourth overall pick.

Watkins, 24, only appeared in eight games for the Bills last season due to a broken foot. Despite being bitten by the injury bug early in his NFL career, this move certainly comes as a shock to Bills fans, as well as NFL experts around the league, who have praised Watkins' ability so far this preseason.

Additionally, the Bills traded corner back Ronald Darby to Philadelphia in exchange for wide receiver Jordan Matthews and the Eagles' 2018 third round pick.
