Update: TMZ has called Johns Creek Police Department to get the information on R. Kelly's criminal investigation. John Creek Police says that there is no new evidence or any compelling reason to investigate R. Kelly.
The case of R. Kelly having women held captive in his Atlanta and Chicago homes was "debunked" after one of the alleged victims, Jocelyn Savage posted not one, but two videos claiming that her parents are lying and that she's happy where she is. However, in new information brought forth by the Atlanta Journal Constitution says that Johns Creek police have discovered new information that has led city officials to call for a criminal investigation of the R&B singer's sex cult allegations.
The action was called upon by Mayoral candidate and Fulton County Chairman, John Eaves.
In a statement prior to the press conference he said "A detailed local investigation by the John Creek Police Department has provided key information that we believe is enough evidence that gives the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office all it needs to advance a criminal investigation of the well-known allegations."
It was only a few days a go that the Savage's parents had a press conference pleading to get their daughter back to them safe and sound. However, Jocelyn's attorney had claimed that the news conference was part of a unnecessary actions that constituted as harassment.
There were rumors circling around that due to these allegations, Kellz would cancel dates on his upcoming "After Party" tour due to poor ticket sales. However, he ended up saying these were false claims.
