Rich Homie Quan is putting the blame on Birdman.

A few years ago, there was a massive song leak that targeted Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug's music. Over 100 unreleased tracks were uploaded online and a culprit was never brought to the fore for their actions. Now, Quan is blaming the incident on Birdman, a record executive who is known for doing the opposite of leaking music material of any kind.

Speaking with the crew over at Everyday Struggle, Rich Homie Quan detailed his theory behind the leaked songs. "This one of the times Birdman didn't pay the studio, so the studio leaked all the music," Quan said. "They said Bird didn't pay them so they leaked all the songs, bro." This makes some sense, given Birdman's history of refusing to fork over cash for completed work, but Quan didn't stop there. It seems like the ATL rapper was pretty incensed at the time.

"I got mad... when I would see them, I kept thinking it was a dream. Like, 'I know this song," he added. "It might have been two songs out of all those songs that I really cared about, and once those two got leaked, I was like, 'Damn, those were going to be on the album.'" Fortunately, a learning experience was taken from the incident, one that has helped propel the rapper forward in his career. "That was the lesson: Quan, get your own studio. No music getting leaked."
