Brooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell is taking full advantage of his new home in New York, exploring the city's most iconic basketball courts including Dyckman Park in Washington Heights.

The 21-year old point guard made an appearance at the Dyckman Summer League last night but he wasn't just there to watch the competition, he was there to put his stamp on the court that many other NBA Stars, including Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Baron Davis, have dominated in the past.

On Wednesday night, with the game tied at 77 all, D'Angelo Russell calmly brought the ball up the court as a sea of fans piled in behind him in the backcourt. The southpaw then drained a game-winning three and was quickly engulfed by the swarm of people at half court.

Russell wasn't the only pro getting in a run last night, he was also joined by his new teammates Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Isaiah Whitehead.

The Nets acquired the former second overall prior to the NBA Draft in June by sending Brook Lopez and the 27th overall pick to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Russell and Timofey Mozgov.
