If you haven’t realized by now, Kendrick Lamar’s on-going "DAMN" tour is arguably the biggest “can’t-miss” show of the Summer, with a new artist/rapper being brought out just about every night of the tour, and Wednesday night was no different. But rather than K. Dot bringing out the artist, like he’s done in the past with J. Cole, Chance The Rapper or 2 Chainz, opening act Big Baby D.R.A.M. decided to surprise fans in Los Angeles last night by bringing out internet sensation XXXTentacion at the Staples Center.
X shared his surprise performance on his Instagram page, making it his only post on his page, and simply leaving the caption “damn, lol.” Meanwhile, Big Baby D.R.A.M. also shared their special moment on Twitter, tweeting “shout out to the homie @xxxtentacion for coming out #DAMNtour.”
Wednesday night’s appearances couldn't have come at a better time for X. The fast-rising Florida rapper is currently prepping the release of his highly anticipated new 17 album, which is expected to arrive August 25th, and this is a big look to help with the push.
