"Where I'm from, you protect yourself."

Former NBA player Robert Horry was involved in a fight over the weekend with a heckler, who was reportedly jawing at him during his son's game at the Nike 3ON3 tournament at L.A. Live.

The heckler, who witnesses say was affiliated with the other team, ultimately stepped up to Horry and pushed him which turned out to be a huge mistake as the former NBA champ started throwing haymakers at him.

According to TMZ, reporters spoke with Horry after the altercation who insisted he was just defending himself after the dude shoved him.

"The guy was trash talking the whole game. He shoved me. Where I'm from, you protect yourself."

Additionally, Horry said the heckler is a repeat offender who has been verbally abusive toward his son's team in the past.
