Fat Joe is a man who's been one of the faces of New York hip-hop for many years. With massive hits that have dominated rap radio and the R&B/Hip-Hop charts from Billboard, he's a man who's word makes people stop and listen. In a recent radio interview with DJ Suss One on Sirius XM's Hip-Hop Nation, Joe gave a big prediction for Remy Ma's upcoming album: it will be a chart-topper.
Joe told Suss One that Ma's current project is an amazing piece of work that he expects to "go No. 1 in America" without much trouble. The rappers have previously worked together on several singles, including the anthem "Lean Back," which was the biggest hip-hop track of 2004 and the tenth most popular across all genres that year. They definitely know a thing or two about making hit records and, as far as Fat Joe is concerned, Remy Ma's got some fire on her hands.
However, that's not the only upcoming project Joe spoke about during the interview. He also teased his upcoming album, which he's decided to title The Book of Joe. "But instead of writing a book, it’s gonna be stories about my life, real life stories," he added. His latest release, the song "So Excited," has already generated a swath of positive buzz, with a sound that harkens back to his glory years and the bump-tastic grooves that he's become known for.
