Whether you’re following his impeccable fashion sense or lurking his art-gallery inspired Instagram profile, A$AP Rocky maneuvers in a way that keeps you wondering what’s next.
His debut mixtape Live.Love.A$AP. changed the musical climate with producers like Clams Casino, SpaceGhostPurrp, and DJ Burn One, creating a new sound that separated himself from the unmistakable New York sound many have come to expect. By incorporating his southern influence, A$AP Rocky invited us into his drug induced soundscape of chopped and screwed choruses and low-tempo beats.
One thing A$AP Rocky never shied from was trying different things and growing as an artist. The ghostly chorus of Long Live A$AP still echoes in my mind, and his last solo effort At.Long.Last.A$AP. might be his most cohesive and musically driven body of work. Rocky’s collective A$AP Mob released Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends last October, and volume two is set to drop on August 25th. Clearly, Rocky has an impressive discography as a solo artist.
While an A$AP Rocky featured appearance is somewhat of a rarity, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite Jodye Flacko features.
