A&E are set to release their upcoming documentary about The Notorious B.I.G., titled Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G., on September 4th. In advance of that high-profile release, the network is giving fans a taste of the content, with short interview snippets from both Jay-Z and Nas.
Mr. Carter and Mr. Jones can be heard quoting Biggie's "Who Shot Ya" track. Previously rumored to be a shot at Tupac Shakur, it's rather ironic to see Hov and Nas split words from it, considering their "Takeover" vs. "Ether" history. Jay is up first, spitting "I can hear sweat trickling down your cheek," while Nas follows it up with "Your heartbeat sound like Sasquatch feet." Like I said, delicious in every way.
The upcoming documentary will also feature rare interviews and footage of the late Christopher Wallace, alongside commentary and interviews from some of the biggest names in the history of hip-hop, Jay and Nas included. but there’s also some commentary from two of the biggest hip-hop stars in the game, JAY-Z and Nas. The subject matter will revolve around the broader story of Biggie's life, right up until his demise on March 9th, 1997.
