A$AP Ferg is about to have a stellar month. "Awgust" will not only yield a new project from A$AP Mob, which is due out on August 25th, but will also see Ferg release a solo mixtape on the 18th. In advance of all of this new music coming our way, the rapper sat down with the New York Times and discussed his Sunday routine and, perhaps surprisingly, it's relatively low-key.
First, eating a healthy breakfast is important to him. "I eat healthy," Ferg explained. "Egg whites, turkey bacon, chicken sausage. If not, I just go to the corner store, and I get me a turkey bacon, egg and cheese." Another mainstay on his weekend is touching up his hair game. "I definitely get a haircut every Sunday. I have a few different barbers. I have a barber in L.A. I got two barbers in New York, just in case one is not available. Barbers are important. They come to my house, and they set up and they give me facials and massages."
A$AP Ferg also spoke about jazzing up his jeans with some paint (he went to art school and has been painting for about a decade) in advance of making his way to a Kendrick Lamar concert.
