While the NFL may have apparently turned it's back on Colin Kaepernick following his ongoing protest of the United States' national anthem, and his decision to speak out against racial injustices in the country, the football player is still reeling in support from the general public and a few celebrities along the way.
Most recently, Kap launched his "I Know My Rights" campaign in tandem with his actions in an effort to educate minority youth on their rights as American citizens.
Previously, he's rallied support from the likes of Chris Brown and Charlamagne tha God on the matter, and now it looks like he's got J. Cole in his corner as well.
It was Friday night that Kaepernick's girlfriend and Hot 97 DJ, Nessa posted a photo to Instagram with Both Colin and Cole as the rapper sported the "I Know My Rights" campaign t-shirt.
"Magical Nights with incredible inspirational conversations to last many lifetimes✨," Nessa penned in a caption. "@kaepernick7 @realcoleworld ⭐️ Grab your shirt (same one Cole is wearing) @ knowyourrightscamp.com restock next week! Follow @yourrightscamp to get daily updates."
It comes as no surprise that J. Cole, a considerably conscious figure in in his own right, would be down with Colin Kaepernick's movements.
Now if only some team's General Manager would feel the same.
