Houston or bust.

Carmelo Anthony still hopes to be traded before the start of the NBA season, but the number of teams he'd be willing to waive his no-trade clause for has been narrowed down to one.

According Marc Berman of the New York Post, Melo is no longer interested in accepting a trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers, thanks to the ongoing Kyrie Irving drama and the fact that LeBron could be playing elsewhere in 2018.

That leaves the Houston Rockets as the only team that the 33-year old forward would accept a deal to.

However, now that Phil Jackson is out of town, the Knicks have remained firm in their stance that they're not just going to give Carmelo away for peanuts.

Unless the Rockets can find a third team to sweeten the deal, it looks like Melo will be stuck in New York when the 2017-18 season rolls around.
