Kim Kardashian is in hot water because of her use and promotion of an illuminated smartphone case - to the tune of a $100 million lawsuit.
As per TMZ, the TV personality and model's company, Kimsaprincess, Inc., got slapped with the suit earlier today (July 31st) by a guy named Hooshmand Harooni, who says he got a patent for an "integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device" all the way back in 2013.
The one Kim uses, the LuMee, says it helps her take the perfect selfie, an indispensable asset in her line of work. The trouble comes in because Harooni licensed his invention to another company called Snaplight, which is feeling the pinch in terms of their sales. One thing is for sure, Kim sure does love plugging that smartphone case!
