After comedian Lil Duval recently made an appearance on The Breakfast Club, delivering some pretty controversial commentary, and host Charlamagne Tha God was left to catch much of the heat at this year's Politicon.
It was last week, that while on the topic of transgender members of society, DJ Envy asked Lil Duval what his reaction would be in the hypothetical situation that a transgender woman fails to reveal that she is transgender before engaging in a sexual relationship.
Duval's response was that the woman would "be dying."
Envy, Charlamange, and fellow host Angela Yee all quickly shot down the comment, calling it out as a hate crime.
Nonetheless, this didn't keep protestors from attacking host Charlamange on Sunday [July 30] during his appearance at Politicon in Los Angeles.
"We are not a joke," protesters called out, according to TMZ. "Trans people are not a joke."
Currently, there is a call on social media for a protest of the famed radio talk show.
