Amber Rose upset a portion of the South Philly community with some recent remarks about how no one is "traditionally attractive" from where she grew up. Now, she wants to set the record straight.
Speaking with TMZ, Rose explains that she meant that she didn't consider herself attractive and wanted her comments to reflect a gap between her life experience and society's traditional beauty standards. She also claims that she never said anyone was ugly in an explicit way, although it feels like that's definitely what she was getting at from the Drink Champs clip.
Bottom line: her words didn't come together in the way that she'd hoped, or so she says. Truth or excuse? You be the judge.
