The U.S. men's soccer team are the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup champs, having defeated Jamaica 2-1 last night at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
With the scored tied 1-1 throughout much of the second half, 22-year old Jordan Morris came through for the U.S. in the 88th minute, burying a goal to give the Americans a 2-1 lead.
After the thrilling finish, the "Golden Ball," the award given to the best player of the tournament, was given to Michael Bradley, despite the fact that he only played in three of the team's six games.
The win marks USA's sixth overall Gold Cup title, just one shy of tying Mexico for the most all time.
