In the final days before training camp, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones spent some time jet skiing at Georgia's Lake Lanier, which ultimately cost him a $150,000 diamond earring.
According to 11Alive, a boat wake tossed Jones from his jet ski and into the water, and when he came back up his six-figure earring was nowhere to be found.
He hired a dive team to search the bottom of the lake, but the divers reportedly came up empty handed after searching as far as 65-feet beneath the surface.
"It's down in crevasses and nooks and crannies," Richard Pickering, one of the divers said. "It's impossible -- absolutely impossible."
Despite losing some jewelry, Julio, and Falcons fans across the country, are just happy he wasn't injured.
"As long as I'm good, it's materialistic stuff," he said. "You can always get that kind of stuff back."
