The first week sales projects are in for Meek Mill’s newly released Wins & Losses album, and it looks like the MMG rapper will be fighting Tyler The Creator & Lana Del Rey for this week’s #1 spot. According to Hits Double Daily, Meek’s fourth studio album is expected to sell 85k–90k including streams, whereas 48k–53k of those being pure sales. His biggest competitor for the #1 spot is American singer Lana Del Rey, who is also expected to sell 85-90K, but she's looking at 60-65K of pure sales.
In comparison, Meek’s last album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, sold around 250k copies in its first week back in 2015, making this a big drop off in sales. However, the fans & people are receiving Meek’s new album very well, and its pretty clear these first week numbers won't reflect the album’s success.
Creeping up right behind Meek & Lana in sales is Tyler The Creator, who's new album Scum Fuck Flower Boy, is expected to move 80-85k, with 48-53k being pure sales. With one big sales push he could jump the two for #1 spot, but it's looking at the moment like he'll land the #3 spot.
Check out the numbers right here, and we'll keep you posted once the final numbers are in later in the week.
