Last week, A$AP Bari found himself at the center of a sexual assault controversy, following the release of a disturbing Instagram video. While the internet was quick to condemn the VLONE founder, the A$AP Mob appeared divided. A$AP Rocky appeared to call Bari a bitch at a recent concert, while A$AP Illz went on a Twitter spree in Bari's defense.
Now, A$AP affiliate Playboi Carti appears to have addressed the controversy. According to a post on Reddit's HipHopHeads, footage has surfaced in which Carti claims "I don't support none of that rape shit", that shit wack, I love women," prior to performing "VLONE." The claim prompted the crowd to begin chanting "Fuck Bari." Carti proceeds to defend Bari, claiming "Nah ain't no fuck Bari, that's my brother but the n*gga did wrong."
