Master P continues to put community and less-fortunate youth first.
According to XXL, P and his Team Hope foundation hosted a charity basketball game not long ago at Xavier University and something very special happened to 10 inner city kids. The No Limit CEO has donated a scholarship for all 10 of them, who are members of the New Orleans community.
The event was a star-studded affair. Several sports celebrities were on hand and R&B girl group June’s Diary opened the event by singing the national anthem. Master P's daughter Cymphonique and her band performed during the halftime show.
The proceeds from the game went directly to the scholarship fund that is behind the scholarship that the 10 kids that were chosen will receive. In addition to the game itself, the event also featured a 3-point contest and a dunk competition.
