According to SPIN, Diplo joked about the circus surrounding the embattled R&B singer, who's being accused of masterminding a cult that abuses young women in a sexual way. The big-name DJ said he "low-key" sent in his application to the sex cult, implying that he'd potentially like to be a part of it. The tweet was surely meant as a joke, but because of Internet backlash, he took the post down about twenty minutes later.
The R. Kelly scandal continues to grow into a fully-blown circus, with one of his alleged victims saying that she's not in danger and that she just wants to be left alone. We haven't even begun to reach the end of this debacle.
