Bryson Tiller excited many fans when he first announced that he and Drake were "start[ing] some vibes," last December; strongly suggesting that the collaborations would appear on Drake's then-upcoming More Life. He even paid a visit to the Toronto rapper's Calabasas YOLO Estate.
Unfortunately, both More Life and Bryson's True To Self arrived with no sign of the teased music. In a new interview with Capital Xtra, Tiller has broken the silence on what happened to the songs he worked on with the OVO rapper.
"I sent him a few songs, he sent me a few songs and we’ve just got to see what happens," he said. "I don’t ever want to rush a song with anybody. I just want to put out the right song or the right project."
So it seems that whatever it was the two worked on, it's not exactly complete. Whether or not the sessions are ever finished, it seems likely that Tiller and Drake will put out a proper collaboration sooner or later. Bryson was offered a deal with Drake's OVO Sound label before he decided to sign with RCA, so it's clear that Drake recognizes his talent.
At the moment, Bryson isn't exactly short on high-profile collaborations. He appears on DJ Khaled's new single "Wild Thoughts" alongside Rihanna. Watch the video below.
