The unexpected death of Shawty Lo last Thursday has found fans and artists alike toasting the rapper on social media, but yesterday he was properly honored with a wake which brought out hundreds in attendance. Following the visitation, Shawty Lo's casket was transported in a hearse to Blue Flame Lounge, a strip club he frequented as well as the last place he was seen before the car accident that took his life.
Footage of the hearse pulling up to the curb at the club has now made its way online, showing bystanders discussing Lo's symbolic last trip to the club. Meanwhile, inside, the rapper was honored with a candle-lit moment of silence, before a few words were said and his iconic single, "Dey Know," was played.
View the footage below. Shawty Lo's funeral service is taking place today at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church on Fairburn Road in Atlanta.
