According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, Gordon Hayward is inking a deal with the Boston Celtics.
Hayward had spent the last seven seasons with the Utah Jazz, a team he led to the second round of the NBA playoffs this spring, before losing to the eventual champions, the Golden State Warriors.
The move reunites Hayward with his college coach Brad Stevens, who used to helm the men's basketball team at Butler. Known for his all-around game and ability to stretch the defense with his shooting range, Hayward will be a talented addition to a Celtics' corp that already included stars like Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford. The former seemingly tweeted his response to the Hayward signing earlier as well.
