“They all led me back to Toronto.”

Free agent point guard Kyle Lowry has announced, via The Player's Tribune, that he's staying with the Toronto Raptors in what he says was "an easy decision."

The 3x All-Star, and top point guard on the market, writes,

“When I had to make my free-agency decision, there was a lot going through my head, a lot of roads my mind was traveling down,”

“Family, first and foremost, and what’s going to make them happy, and give them the best life. Basketball, of course, and where I’d like to play for these next several years. And then there was also the gut-check aspect — just what I was feeling in my heart."

“But for me, at the end of the day, this was an easy decision. And all of those roads … they all led me back to the same place: home."

“They all led me back to Toronto.”

According The Vertical's Shams Charania, Lowry's new deal with Toronto is for three years and $100 million.

The 31-year old guard, who has been with the Raptors for vie season, has made the All-Star team in the last three years playing alongside DeMar DeRozan. Toronto has also announced that they reached an agreement with Serge Ibaka to remain with the team.
