Andre Iguodala, a key piece into the unstoppable basketball machine that is the Golden State Warriors, got a dig in at NBA reporters yesterday after he signed a new deal with the team.
The contract, reportedly worth $48 million over three years, was broken by Iguodala himself on Twitter, mocking the breaking news-style tweets that have permeated the NBA offseason so far with signings and trades.
Some of the league's best-known voices were quick to respond, some trying to still keep things serious, while others managed to have a laugh at their own expense. Maybe this will start a new trend and players will be effectively cutting out the media middle men (and women).
