The Reverend isn't bothered.

Al Sharpton's Internet fame got everyone's attention and he's not changing a thing.

Recently, Jay-Z's new album, 4:44, dropped and he littered his lyrics with some interesting celebrity shout-outs - not the least of which was Al Sharpton, social media's newest selfie superstar. The tone of the lyrics may have been a little mocking, but the Reverend isn't phased.

"Tell Jay Z we're still taking selfies," remarked Sharpton in a tweet from the Essence Festival in New Orleans. Sharpton also mentioned that he's down there "taking care of business," but let's be honest: all work and no play makes Al a dull boy.

The lineup for Essence this year is loaded with big R&B names, with the likes of John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Solange and others making appearances.
