Right now everybody in the NBA is desperately trying to catch up to the Golden State Warriors, even LeBron James and the reigning Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
On ESPN's "Mike & Mike" this morning, Stephen A. Smith revealed that the Cavs were trying to acquire both Paul George and Carmelo Anthony in a blockbuster 5-team deal, but couldn't find a home for Kevin Love as part of the deal.
According to Stephen A., the teams involved were the Cavs, Pacers, Knicks, Nuggets and Suns though there's no word on which players were involved or how close this deal truly was to being finalized.
Earlier today the Rockets made a blockbuster deal with the Clippers to land Chris Paul ahead of the NBA free agency period, which will undoubtedly impact future moves in this electric NBA offseason.
