Chris Paul will reportedly opt-in to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, but will then be traded to the Houston Rockets, according to The Vertical's (and soon to be ESPN's) Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Clippers agreed to the deal with Houston after Paul informed the team he'd be signing with the Rockets as a free agent.
This Woj Bomb comes just a few days before NBA free agency is set to begin (Saturday) and will see CP3 teaming up with James Harden in Mike D'Antoni's face-paced offense.
Details of the trade are as follows:
Rockets get 9x All-Star point God, Chris Paul.
Clippers get Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker, Lou Williams and a 2018 top-3 protected first-round pick.
