Russell gets an animated short highlighting his historic season.

To honor Russell Westbrook's unforgettable MVP win and season, Jordan Brand premiered a new animated commercial "Why Not 0."

The short features a young student struggling to figure out what MVP equals, until a rapping trophy breaks down Westbrook's historic season through his statistics, analytics, and Westbrook's shear desire to win. Jordan Brand enlisted Grammy-nominated rapper Phonte of Little Brother and Foreign Exchange to perform the raps. The illustrations were done by Titmouse animation studios.

Westbrook finished the season as the first player to average a triple-double since Oscar Robertson in 1962. He also maintained the highest usage rate ever at 41.7%. Check out the commercial.
