Peter Rosenberg dedicated his latest "The Late Show" on Hot 97 to Mobb Deep's Prodigy, who sadly passed away last week due to complications from sickle cell anemia, something he lived with all his life.
The two superstar rappers opened show each with a verse from the late great's catalog. Eminem spit the opening verses from "Survival Of The Fittest" while Kendrick opened with lines from "Genesis." The rest of the show was dedicated to P, and Peter Rosenberg played a number of different tracks from the Mobb Deep duo. Undoubtedly the groundbreaking rapper will continue to be missed dearly by the hip hop community.
