Rihanna has made the Billboard Hot 100 her own personal stomping ground. The only artists to claim more top five hits than Rihanna include names like Madonna, The Beatles, Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson, now she has cracked another glass ceiling.
She becomes the first women artist in 12 weeks to have a song in the top five spot of the Hot 100. Her hit song "Wild Thoughts," ends the longest women-less drought on the list since 1972. The track also includes DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller and came in at No. 4 this past week. The last song featured in the top five that featured a woman vocalist was Taylor Swift and Zayn's "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," three months ago.
Rihanna continues to strengthen her musical legacy.
