The event, "Sounds Like You: NYC" is going to take place on July 19th, at Brooklyn Steel. Fans will be able to see the Queens' legend Nas perform as well as Brooklyn's Young M.A and Harlem's Dave East. The purpose of the show is to showcase New York's unbelievable sound, and celebrate it's place within hip-hop culture. Biz Markie is set to play a DJ set as well. Best of the all the entire concert is free to all fans.
Jeff Zuchowski, Pandora’s vice president of artist marketing had this to say, “this event is a natural extension of the Sounds Like You campaign which was created to highlight the personal music experience on Pandora, and on July 19, Pandora will sound like New York City, its artists and fans.”
