The powers that be behind the Electric Daisy Carnival music festival are denying that they "sabotaged" DJ Khaled's DJ set.
According to TMZ, the festival is claiming that technical difficulties put a crimp in the DJ/producer's performance, not any malicious behavior. Khaled suffered some embarrassment as a result, regardless of why the issues arose, with repeated sound problems and tons of stalling led to him getting booed offstage.
Pasquale Rotella, the CEO and founder of Insomniac, the entity that runs EDC, said that, "Due to technical difficulties beyond DJ Khaled and Insomniac's control, Khaled was not able to perform at his scheduled time on Sunday night at EDC." He also said that Khaled was the "consumamte pro" and is not lashing out at him for the troubles that were caused.
