"Wheel of Fortune" is in hot water.

Wheel of Fortune is taking some heat online after an image in a recent promo was deemed offensive.

According to The A.V. Club, during a recent promo for "Southern Charm" week, hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White previewed the activities to come on the show while standing in front of what appeared to be an photo of two slaves. When zoomed in, as a Twitter video demonstrates, two African-American woman are standing in front of a ranch-style house wearing period dresses.

The image was supposedly taken by Wheel producers at a plantation in Louisiana over a decade ago. A spokesperson for the plantation said that no one under their employ portrays a slave, and that the women in the photo wore "Annabelle-style hoop skirts." Wheel Of Fortune executive producer Harry Friedman has since said that they "regret the use of this background image", and we will be changing it for future broadcasts.

Check out the zoomed-in image below.
