Lil Wayne is a part-owner of Tidal, and in a few days, he will use the platform to provide a live stream of an exclusive "ColleGrove" concert in Atlanta, where he'll be joined by 2 Chainz. The concert goes down on Wednesday, March 30 at 9pm at the Tabernacle in Northwest Atlanta, and entry will only be granted to Tidal members.
The show will be in support of 2 Chainz' ColleGrove album, released at the beginning of the month. Lil Wayne featured on 8 of the album's 12 tracks, though it was released via Def Jam and, therefore, does not count toward Weezy's contract with Cash Money. Both artists have already performed certain tracks off the album together on stage. Earlier this month, at the beginning of SXSW, they performed the Mannie Fresh-produced single "Gotta Lotta" as well as the Mr. 2-17-produced "Blue C-Notes" during a party that was streamed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
