Nas has nothing but praise for Tupac these days.
In a new interview with The New York Times, the veteran rapper expounds on Pac's legacy and how it's one-of-a-kind. "Tupac, he’s the only artist to do what he’s done, to record as many songs in that amount of time at that age, songs with meaning and messages to impact the world, but also ideas for movies and restaurants," said Nas.
You might know that Nas and Tupac weren't always on good terms, with a Biggie diss in the track "The Message" that Pac thought was meant for him igniting a two-year-long feud, but the New York-born Mr. Jones clearly has no lingering hate for the late legend. Apparently, Nas recently also joined forces with John Seymour, a worldly restaurant expert, to open a pop-up restaurant that is supposedly based on an idea Tupac had sketched while in prison.
Later on in the interview, Nas hinted that his long-delayed new album could be on the way very soon, exclaiming, "We coming this summer, baby!"
